Our room was newly decorated with exceptionally comfortable bed, plus the location was favourable. Great service, just what we needed.

Had really really nice stay on holiday. Overall it was reasonably large in the tower. The breakfast was plentiful with bananas, so much to pick from. The location was fantastic and the staff was exceptional during the whole stay! The airport was 10 km away. I thoroughly enjoyed to be in this place.

Everything was perfect.... The staff were amazing, and were just so helpful. The rooms were always so clean, the cocktails at The Ocean Terrace were sensational, the food was scrumptious, and that sunset, wow!! was just simply breathtaking. Getting around is quite easy if you don't have a car, providing you want to stay in the immediate area. There is a trolley which is free around the Kaanapali area and if you want to go into the local town of Lahaina you can catch a bus for $1 from Whalers Village. We loved it & will definitely go back.
The only thing i didn't like was having to leave this beautiful place. The food however is a little expensive but you would expect that in any resort anyway.

the situation, the room was nice , clean and with a nice view
The woman who seats the guests for breakfast is incredibly slow, so that one has to queue for 15 minutes to be seated, and in the restaurant, the waiters are not very nice..The woman at the activities desk looks more interested in her Iphone than in the guests wishes!!

We had a free upgrade as we were early for check-in and they were more than happy to oblige us. We loved the surrounding gardens, beach walks, beach access, free trolley transport to Whalers Villiage, coffee maker in the room, still in cinema, films avail for $16-99 which was good. We were very sad to leave. The bed was fantastic and the most comfortable including the pillows we have ever had anywhere. We loved the quietness of the hotel too.

Nice location and friendly staff
The cottage room was out of date and facilities in room need upgrade. Was informed wifi internet available in all rooms (of course not free), but cannot find the signal in my room at all, though hotel staff said the whole resort area should be covered.

The location is in the popular area of kanaapali - the grounds and the beach is Great - there is a complimentary shuttle bus that takes you to the whalers village where there are shops restaurants and bars - if you like ice cream you must try Yogurt land it is fab. Our room was on the garden side of the tower and the views were lovely - You can watch the sunset from your balcony . I would recommend this hotel for Location and price for this area - have been to this hotel before and the rooms have Been upgraded a couple of years ago - what a difference.
When we were told by the reception staff to ask the bell boy to take our luggage To our room - we approached a young Hawaiian bell boy - I was quite taken Aback when he told us there was a charge - we asked him the cost and he replied 2 dollars - this young man spoilt it for himself as my husband had 5 dollars in his top Pocket for him for his service - but because he told us there was a charge we gave Him the 2 dollars - what this young man does not know - we have travelled all Over the world and know that you have to tip them for their service - if the hotel reads This comment to their bell boy staff - he knows who he is - other bell men also Witnessed his approach to us - despite this happening would still recommend .

Location was ok since it was just a short walk to Black Rock.
I had a bungalow garden room which was so horrible. Noisy with no privacy. It said it had a patio but mine was a shared patio which was not mentioned. Some rooms have adjoining doors, also not mentioned, and are super thin and noisy. The worst oldest bathroom with peeling paint and worst of all, cockroaches! They moved me into a real room in the tower after I had to call about the cockroaches. Nice room but could not believe the towels were so nasty and super, super old. Thin spots and dry and crusty no matter how many new ones they brought. They should be embarrassed to use those! Overall this is no where near staying at a resort.

I booked a Beach Cottage, and there was not a beach cottage. I was placed into a room right above a speaker and a restaraunt.....Music was loud, DESK staff was VERY RUDE. House cleaning did not replace towels or shampoo, soap, lotion. THe hotel was a total disapointment. I can say I will tell everyone to book a different hotel The vendors WERE GREAT!!!!!! But anything to do with the hotel was ERY LOUSY and will never stay again

The oceanfront view from my room was amazing, with fine sunsets that painted the sky in vibrant hues. The staff was attentive.
More shaded seating areas by the pools would help.

we love the atmosphere at the resort
we stayed in 1 of the cabins on the beach, this was our 2nd time there. these rooms are in bad need of upgrading. there is alot of mold in the bathrooms. we love the staff and the location but will not be able to return as my wife has bad allergies and an extended stay will not be possible, last time there we stayed 5 nights and this time only 1, i would recomend the location not sure about the rooms

Beautiful beach,, the room we got is big and beautiful.
Room service is not available for lunch. Car parking lot is big but space for the car it self is so small and narrow.
